Age Verification Policy

1) Age-gating and access controls

• We may display an age gate (e.g., “I am 18+”) and restrict access unless you confirm eligibility.
• We may use risk-based checks (e.g., device, account, payment, or behavioural signals) to trigger verification.
• We may restrict features, hold withdrawals/redemptions, or pause participation until verification is completed.

2) What we may ask for

To confirm you are 18+, we may request one or more of the following:

• Full name, date of birth, and residential address.
• A clear photo/scan of a government-issued ID (e.g., NZ driver licence, passport, or other accepted ID).
• A selfie or short liveness check to match you to your ID.
• Proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement) where needed.

We may use identity/age verification service providers to perform these checks. We only request information reasonably necessary to verify age and prevent underage access.

3) Handling suspected minors

• If we suspect an account is operated by a person under 18, we will request age verification and may immediately restrict access.
• If we cannot verify that the user is 18+, we may suspend or close the account.
• Participation, entries, rewards, or prizes linked to underage use may be voided or forfeited where permitted by law and our terms.
• We may take additional steps to prevent repeat access (e.g., device/account blocking).

4) Enforcement and refusal

We may refuse service, suspend features, or close accounts if: (a) verification is not completed within a reasonable time; (b) information provided is false, altered, or inconsistent; or (c) we reasonably believe access involves underage use. We may retain records of verification outcomes for compliance, fraud prevention, and audit purposes in line with our Privacy Policy.
